Over time, pigment particles can build up at the base of your brush, causing hairs to splay and the tip to lose its fine point.

Remove excess pigment: Gently wipe your brush on a lint-free rag or paper towel. Rinse: Hold the brush under running water to remove loose paint.

Wash with mild soap: Using cool water, swirl the brush in the palm of your hand with a small amount of mild soap. Rinse thoroughly: Repeat washing and rinsing until the water runs clear. Tips: Avoid strong soaps as they can strip the natural oils from bristles.

Remove excess water: Gently press the brush against a lint-free cloth or paper towel. Reshape the bristles: Carefully reform the brush tip with your fingers.

Dry correctly: Stand brushes upright with bristles facing upwards, allowing ferrules and handles to dry completely. Storage: Only store brushes in a jar or pot once they are completely dry. Note: Minor stains in the bristles are normal and will not affect brush performance or longevity.

Use warm water, not hot, to prevent paint from coagulating and damaging the brush.
